Compass Mobile Implementation Officer (m/f/x) – MSF Belgium

CONTEXT

Monitoring is a core component of MSF’s medical humanitarian programming. It provides continuous, data-driven insight into project progress, performance, and impact, ensuring interventions remain relevant, effective, and accountable.

To strengthen this function, MSF OCB has launched the COMPASS (Coordinated Monitoring for Performance, Accountability & Strategic Steering) project, a two-year initiative to implement a unified Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Framework across missions. This framework integrates tools such as Activity Infos and Power BI to standardize data collection, enhance decision-making, and align monitoring practices across all levels of operations.

As the COMPASS Mobile Implementation Officer, you play a key role in turning this framework into practice. Acting as a bridge between the Operational Centre in Brussels (OCB) and the project or country, you support the coherent rollout of COMPASS tools and logic, ensure standardization, and build user capacity. You coordinate workshops, mainly during ARO (Annual Review and Operational Planning) periods but also when new projects are launched and provide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting to Project teams.

Through this work, you contribute directly to MSF OCB’s goal of fostering a consistent, data-informed, and adaptive monitoring culture across its operations.
